We noticed a lot of Lite users like using the Ink pen for sketching and drawing, so we added an extra setting to help you guys out. This lets you get a completely smooth canvas background. You can now toggle the lighting and texture effects off in the canvas settings. This version uses the same code as ArtRage 5, which means it comes with all the same speed and stability improvements, protects your paintings better if ArtRage is stopped or the computer shuts down suddenly, and has better compatibility with the latest operating systems and tablet drivers. It’s a more simplified version of our full program that lets you enjoy the traditional effects and create real art without being overloaded by options or paying for advanced features that you may not want. Note: Studio does not support some palette knife features present in the iPad version.ArtRage Lite is our starter edition of ArtRage. Tracing and Reference images let you load photos to recreate either by eye or by letting ArtRage select colors for you as you paint. Stencils and rulers let you create precise shapes or smooth curves freehand. Recording: - Record your paintings then play them back in a desktop version of ArtRage Studio or Studio Pro at higher resolution. With ArtRage you can paint with oils and watercolors, sketch with pencils, spray stickers over your canvas, and much more. Scale, rotate, and position layer contents independently. Record your paintings! The ArtRage Script system lets you record strokes while you paint for playback in desktop versions of the product at higher resolution. With support for Multi-Touch gestures, important shortcuts are available without needing any interface. As you paint, it gets out of the way so that you don’t have to stop and manually adjust panels. The interface has been designed specifically for the iPad, compacted to maximize your creative space without hiding away critical functions such as tool and color selection. You can load photos as Tracing Images which are overlaid on the canvas, and have ArtRage select colors from them automatically as you paint. Import photos, converting them to oil for smearing or as Reference Images pinned to the canvas as a visual guide. ArtRage supports a wide range of Layer Blend Modes, and layer contents can be scaled moved and rotated independently. Add Layers to your painting and work on individual elements without damaging others. Tools apply texture as well as color, and blend under the brush. Each tool has a range of settings that reflect familiar properties such as how much thinner is applied to the paint, or how soft a pencil tip is. Canvas grain affects the paint, and dry pigments break up on the surface to create textures. Watercolors react to the wetness of the brush and paper, to create hard edged strokes or blend to soft gradients.
